Coin, paper and cloth from your cities, knights that stand on the board and move, walls that let you hold a bigger hand, and three decks of progress cards, with barbarians sailing for the coast the whole time.

Sea hexes, ships and maps made of islands. Roads and ships count as one trade route, gold rivers pay out in whatever you ask for, and a pirate works the water while the robber works the land.
